Kaitlyn strives to create a safe, caring, collaborative and supportive environment for you to explore life’s hardships, while also encouraging you to recognize your strengths. Kaitlyn believes it is important to create connection, understanding, compassion, empathy and self-growth in your therapeutic experience. Her goal is to support you in developing tools and coping strategies, while also encouraging you to dig deeper to create understanding of the underlying origin of patterns and themes within your life that are no longer serving you.
Kaitlyns approach to therapy is eclectic, client-centred, strength-based and collaborative. The eclectic approach allows her to integrate various therapeutic techniques that best address your individualized needs. Kaitlyn incorporates Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, The Gottman Method, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Mindfulness. Kaitlyn supports individuals, couples and provides clinical supervision.

Kaitlyn has more than 10 years of professional experience in the field of psychology, and is a Registered Psychotherapist with a Masters in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. She holds a BA in Sociology from York University and an Autism and Behavioural Science graduate certificate from Seneca College. Her educational background and experience has contributed to her understanding of mental health and neurodiversity. Kaitlyn would be honoured to support you on your journey.
